• THE TOUGHEST CASING: The new Tough Trail Boss uses a dual ply 60 tpi casing - that’s two layers of tire casing material combined to create our strongest tire platform. Ideal for your mountain ebike or aggressive trail rig, WTB Tough casings can handle the rough terrain at high speeds.
• SG1 PROTECTION: WTB’s SG1 Protection combines puncture protection where you need it most. SG1 tires deploy a nylon insert under the centerline of the treadcap extending to the cornering lugs to ensure puncture protection. SG1 tires also receive our famous Inner Peace bead insert protection, which improves rim and sidewall strength to keep pinch flats at bay.
• FAST ROLLING TREAD PATTERN: The Trail Boss features an advanced tread design with fast-rolling center treads that provide excellent grip during acceleration and braking. The large outside knobs keep you glued into the turns. Commonly used as a rear tire, the new Trail Boss Tough SG1 casing ensures durability and is more than capable of handling the demands of your trail e-bike.
• PERFECT 2.4 VOLUME: The Trail Boss comes in a 2.4 size that pairs perfectly with larger front tires. Consider running a 2.5 up front for precise steering while keeping the rear fast and stable with the 2.4. The stiff, predictable sidewalls on the rear tire are built to handle the demands of high-speed, heavy e-bikes.
• EASIEST OF TUBELESS: With WTB’s TCS tubeless system you will have a proper fit and ease of tubeless setup every time. TCS casings with SG1 offer more air retention. Checkout other WTB TCS products to dial in your tubeless setup.
• E50 FOR E-BIKES: The SG1 models of the Trail Boss are certified E50 for e-bikes up to 50 kph (31 mph).
